Dr. Helen Yang Meyer, DMD, MS

Dr. Helen Yang Meyer graduated from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 2016, completed her endodontics specialty training in 2019 from the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Dentistry, and currently practices in Colorado.
Dr. Helen is passionate about mentoring, teaching, public health, and organized dentistry. For over ten years, she has helped students with college, dental school, and residency admissions. She has given dozens of presentations on leadership development and application prep across the country.
From 2015-2016, she served as a student admissions officer at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. This was a valuable opportunity to view the dental school admissions process from the perspective of those making admissions decisions.
The crux of a successful application lies not just in impressive numerical statistics, but in showing your personal qualities and potential to positively impact the school, the profession, and the community at large. To that end, Dr. Helen believes that everyone can tell their unique story meaningfully. She loves to help applicants craft a compelling narrative and strategically highlight strengths and motivations through each critical component of the application.
